John A. Bennett

Clinic Manager

John brings to Weekend Therapy over 17 years of management experience. His career began in the finance sector, where he worked his way up through various banking management roles, ultimately achieving the position of Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager. After growing weary of the corporate environment, John transitioned in 2022 to become an administrator for a nationwide nonprofit organization.

John's passion for service is highlighted by his extensive history of volunteerism, which includes collecting food for those in need, tutoring students, raising funds for displaced LGBTQ+ youth, spearheading a fundraising initiative for the local YMCA, painting and constructing homes with Habitat for Humanity, gathering and distributing backpacks to children in need, visiting nursing homes, and organizing beach cleanups.

Originally from Manila, Philippines, John was raised in Reno, NV. He has also lived and worked in several states, including Florida, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, and California.

At Weekend Therapy, John oversees the administrative functions of the company, such as billing, scheduling, payroll, tracking income and expenses, and managing insurance pre-authorizations. He joined Weekend Therapy on a part-time basis in 2024 while continuing his commitment to nonprofit and volunteer work.
