Associate Professional Clinical Counselor

Hello, I’m Miguel. I’m a warm, authentic, and empowering therapist who believes that real change happens when you feel genuinely seen, safe, and supported. My approach is grounded, modern, and deeply collaborative – I see therapy as a space where we work together to help you grow, understand yourself, and move toward the life you want to live.

Many of the people I work with come to me because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what comes next. Others are exploring their identity, wanting to feel more like themselves, or trying to shift patterns that no longer fit who they’re becoming. Whether you’re seeking acceptance, clarity, or meaningful change, I’m here to help you navigate it with curiosity, compassion, and direction.

I’m LGBTQ+ affirming and identify as part of the community myself, and I care deeply about creating a space where you don’t have to explain or justify who you are. But I welcome clients of all backgrounds and experiences. What matters to me is that you feel safe, welcomed, and met with respect and warmth, no matter what you’re carrying.

In our work, you can expect warmth, humor, collaboration, and moments that feel grounding and real. I’m validating and supportive, but I’m not afraid to gently challenge you when it helps you grow. I pull from ACT, IFS, Narrative Therapy, CBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy to meet you where you are and tailor the process to what actually works for you.

I often tell clients: you’re in the driver’s seat—I’m here with the map. You choose the direction, the pace, and the destination. My role is to help you explore, make meaning, reconnect with your values, and build a life that feels aligned with who you are and who you’re becoming.

If you’re looking for a therapist who is warm, real, culturally aware, and invested in helping you grow, I’d love to connect. You don’t have to go through this alone—together, we can build something meaningful, one step at a time.
